About The Position

Sawgrass Country Club is seeking a motivated and reliable individual for a part-time outside operations position. The role provides hospitality and customer service to members and guests while supporting golf operations, maintaining golf cars and outside areas, managing the practice facility, and assisting with club activities, tournaments, and outings.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality and excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Ensure members and guests handle their golf bags as little as possible.
• Maintain golf cart staging areas and manage the bag drop.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding daily play to the Professional Shop.
• Maintain the golf car fleet, including routine automotive maintenance, daily cleaning, and restocking after play.
• Assist members after their round by cleaning clubs, returning clubs to bag storage, and facilitating a smooth exit from the Clubhouse.
• Manage the practice facility operation.
• Enforce club rules and regulations.
• Control and manage play, and coordinate continuous member and guest check-in with the starter.
• Manage and promote club repair services.
• Promote club activities and services, and assist with tournaments and outings.
• Maintain adequate supplies of scorecards, pencils, tees, and ball markers at the bag drop and in storage.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside operations areas, including the bag drop, staging areas, bag storage, grip room, and practice facilities.
