About The Position

Golf Outside Services provides customer service to members at a fast-paced, upscale private club. The role greets member golfers, shares information about club policies, procedures, events, and daily play rules, and handles golf bags and equipment. Duties also include washing golf carts, cleaning clubs after play, supporting practice-facility operations, maintaining the outside area, and assisting with tournaments. Uniforms are provided. Compensation is $16.25 per hour, plus an additional approximate $2.00–$5.50 per hour based on daily volume. The position is seasonal, with full-time hours available. The start date is the first week of October 2026. Schedules are either an opening shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or a closing shift from 11:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to walk, lift, bend, and stand for significant periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height.
• Ability to work in hot and humid conditions.
• Maintain a pleasant and outgoing personality.
• Exhibit professionalism.
• Comply with a Drug-Free Workplace.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet member golfers enthusiastically and courteously upon arrival.
• Provide information about club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and the day's play rules.
• Retrieve golf bags from members' and guests' cars or storage.
• Ensure golf bags are tagged, cataloged, and stored in the correct bag-storage slots.
• Wash golf carts.
• Clean members' clubs after play.
• Perform practice-facility duties.
• Keep the outside area in good working order.
• Assist with tournament operations.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, upscale private facility.
