Golf Outside Services
About The Position
Golf Outside Services provides customer service to members at a fast-paced, upscale private club. The role includes greeting members and guests, sharing information about club policies, procedures, events, and daily play rules, and handling golf bags and carts. Employees also support practice-facility upkeep, maintain the outside area, clean members’ clubs after play, and assist with tournament operations. Uniforms are provided. Compensation is $16.25 per hour, plus an approximate additional $2.00–$5.50 per hour based on daily volume. The position is seasonal, with full-time hours available. The start date is the first week of October 2026. Shifts are either 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m.–approximately 8:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform significant walking, lifting, bending, and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height.
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Maintain a pleasant and outgoing personality and exhibit professionalism.
- Must comply with a Drug-Free Workplace.
- Weekend and holiday availability required.

- Background as a golfer or caddie is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Greet member golfers and guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner.
- Provide information about club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and the day’s play rules.
- Retrieve golf bags from members’ and guests’ cars or storage; tag, catalog, and store bags in the correct slots.
- Wash golf carts and clean members’ clubs after play.
- Perform practice-facility duties and keep the outside area in good working order.
- Assist with tournament operations.
