Outside Golf Operations
About The Position
La Gorce Country Club is seeking an Outside Golf Operations team member for its private 18-hole club in Miami Beach. The role supports the daily operation and upkeep of the valet and bag drop, practice facilities, bag room, and golf car fleet. Candidates should work well in a team, be hardworking, punctual, positive, self-motivated, outgoing, and able to communicate with a broad range of personalities. The individual must be able to learn the operation quickly and communicate effectively with team members. Experience in golf outside operations is preferred. The position starts at $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities
- Open and close Outside Operations.
- Provide outstanding service and greet members by name when they arrive at the club.
- Greet members and guests at the valet and bag drop, creating a positive first impression.
- Set up and oversee practice facilities, keeping the range stocked with Pro V1 balls and providing members with a good environment to practice.
- Coordinate daily functions with the Golf Shop.
- Manage the first tee and ensure members and guests are accounted for on the tee sheet.
- Manage the golf cart fleet.
- Maintain bag room organization and cleanliness.
- Handle members’ and guests’ golf clubs and keep them clean.
- Monitor and maintain the practice facility.
- Assist with tournament operations.
- Wash and detail the cart fleet as time allows and park the fleet in an orderly fashion in the cart barn.
- Keep the bag drop, clubhouse, parking lot, cart barn, and cart wash areas free of trash and debris; maintain trash receptacles throughout the day and empty them at the end of the day.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
