About The Position

The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist enrolls qualified patients in state-funded medical assistance programs and helps uninsured individuals who do not qualify for state-funded assistance enroll in clinic discounted fee programs. The position also develops and maintains working relationships with local organizations and county service agency personnel to establish collaborative outreach efforts. On-the-job training and pay increases are offered as skills and knowledge in the field improve.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience.

• Associate degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enroll qualified patients into state-funded medical assistance programs.
• Facilitate enrollment in clinic discounted fee programs for uninsured individuals who do not qualify for state-funded assistance.
