About The Position

Franz Family Bakery is seeking an Outlet Store Manager to plan, organize, and manage a store to meet customer needs. The role oversees store clerks, supports customer service and sales, maintains merchandise displays and inventory, and handles daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits. The position also promotes the outlet store to local businesses and nearby merchants and supports adherence to Franz Core Values.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
A high level of analytical ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment.
Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite products and programs.
Ability to travel two to three days per week to all outlet stores.
Strong customer service emphasis.
Self-motivated, proactive, and energetic approach to problem solving.
Strong ability to multitask with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of five years of progressively responsible retail supervision experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage the store to meet customer needs.
Schedule store clerks to accommodate store hours and peak customer service periods.
Supervise and train store clerks, and counsel them on job performance as needed.
Promote the Franz Outlet Store to local businesses and nearby merchants to help increase sales.
Perform daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
Merchandise bread products through seasonal and promotional displays to increase store sales.
Answer customer questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selections.
Itemize and total customer merchandise selections at checkout using a cash register.
Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to restock or order.
Stock and restock shelves, racks, cases, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
Clean display cases, shelves, floors, and aisles.
Support and adhere to Franz Core Values.
