About The Position

The Outbound Product Manager supports Cisco’s Velocity Segment, distributors, and tier-two (2T) partners. The role drives business growth through distributors and 2T partners by leading go-to-market strategy, scalable programs, and strategic partner initiatives for Cisco Secure Routing, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, and Cloud Networking. It focuses on distributor-led reach and 2T partner and velocity-customer activation, productivity, and customer success. The role owns velocity client engagement and distributor/2T route-to-market strategy, including managed service providers and systems integrators served through distribution, and coordinates with tier-one and service-provider partner owners to align shared accounts, coverage, offers, messaging, and execution. The position develops partner strategies and joint business plans, strengthens relationships with distributor and partner leaders, and creates repeatable partner journeys from onboarding and technical readiness through sales and sustained productivity. It gathers market feedback and translates it into prioritized product requirements, while helping shape offers, pricing, promotions, and commercialization. The role also coordinates improvements to quoting, ordering, fulfillment, subscription activation, and renewal processes, and aligns launch plans and sales plays across internal teams and distributors. The manager applies solution expertise across enterprise routing and security, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, cloud networking, and SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid-cloud delivery. They create positioning, competitive guidance, demonstrations, and enablement; represent the portfolio at briefings and partner events; and lead cross-functional programs through influence. The role defines performance scorecards and review cadences, measures partner reach, productivity, adoption, and commercial performance, and adjusts programs as needed. The role is remote within the United States. The application window is expected to close on November 30, 2026. The posted starting salary range is $154,900 to $225,300 for U.S. and/or Canada locations, with specific salary ranges for certain locations provided in the posting. Eligible U.S. benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid parental leave, disability coverage, basic life insurance, paid time away, and potential stock grants. Non-sales roles may be eligible for annual bonuses; sales-plan employees may earn performance-based incentive compensation.
