About The Position

Kiva Sales and Service (KSS), the distribution arm of Kiva Confections, provides sales and service support for Kiva and other high-quality cannabis brands in California. The Order Fulfillment Specialist pulls inventory to fulfill account orders and supports accurate, timely movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role conducts inventory counts and processes, prepares finished goods for shipment, receives and checks incoming deliveries, maintains an organized warehouse, operates material-handling equipment, and helps coordinate product movement through METRC. Business hours are usually Monday through Friday between noon and 8:30 p.m., though extended and weekend hours may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety rules, including equipment operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work extended and weekend hours as required.
• Good physical stamina and endurance, including the ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for most of the shift and perform the physical activities described in the posting.
• Ability to work in variable temperatures and noise levels, and at heights using machinery such as order pickers, forklifts, or turrets.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order fulfillment experience is highly preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory processes in Encompass to ensure accuracy.
• Pull, pack, and palletize finished goods for shipment to accounts.
• Receive and log incoming items.
• Unload delivery trucks and verify that inbound deliveries match purchase orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Maintain and operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Help coordinate and track the movement of goods through METRC.
