About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving orders from the sales floor to a staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. The associate also helps maintain an organized, clean, and safe OMNI/SFC work area and supports club policies, procedures, service standards, and productivity goals.

The position requires timely, accurate order fulfillment in line with service-level agreements, performance metrics, and established operating procedures. Associates communicate inventory or equipment issues, report expired or short-dated items, coordinate replenishment, handle returns and damaged or spoiled products, and may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use a handheld RF scanner to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, as well as expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Communicate replenishment needs to the club team and work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
• Complete orders in a timely manner and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
• Follow operational processes, productivity standards, and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress-code standards.
• Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and friendly environment for members and team members; deliver service excellence and address or escalate member concerns.
• Maintain organized and clean order storage bins in accordance with club and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
