About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and digital order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and using a handheld RF scanner to verify counts and update merchandise locations. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

The associate picks and packages orders accurately and on time, follows operational procedures and productivity standards, communicates inventory or equipment issues, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized OMNI space. The role also supports member service, club policies and standards, returns processing, and other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner, verify merchandise, and move orders from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, including expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Coordinate replenishment with the club team and, when possible, have merchandise pulled from reserve areas to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders on time and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow established operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, remove trash and cardboard, and handle damaged or spoiled goods according to procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Maintain clean, organized bin storage and ensure storage bins are cleaned and maintained according to safety standards.
• Work in other departments and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
