Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving orders to a staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard operating procedures. The associate works to meet service-level agreements, productivity requirements, and deadlines while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC work area. The position also requires communicating inventory, equipment, replenishment, and product-date issues; processing returns; following club policies and procedures; and providing a safe, positive, and member-focused experience. Associates may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
- Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
- Follow operational processes, productivity standards, and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and member-focused environment and deliver service excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
