About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital order fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role pulls merchandise from pick lists, verifies items and counts with a handheld scanner, moves orders from the sales floor to a staging area, and packages orders according to standard procedures. Associates work to meet fulfillment deadlines, service-level agreements, productivity expectations, and performance goals while supporting members and club operations. The position also involves maintaining a neat, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC work area; handling returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products according to procedures; communicating inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues; and following club policies, safety standards, dress code, and operating procedures. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may be required with assistance.
- Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

- Previous RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete orders in a timely manner and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
- Follow operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
- Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid replenishment from the sales floor.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC area, including cleaning and organizing storage bins and removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns according to standard procedures, including determining whether returns go through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, safety standards, and dress code requirements.
- Deliver friendly, courteous service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Work collaboratively to meet club standards and support other departments as needed.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
