About The Position

The Order Fulfillment team member performs general warehouse and digital order fulfillment activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club. Responsibilities include pulling merchandise from pick lists, using handheld RF scanners to verify items and update merchandise locations, moving orders from the sales floor to a staging area, and operating equipment. The role supports digital initiatives including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club, and requires timely, accurate order fulfillment in accordance with productivity expectations and standard operating procedures.

The position also involves providing friendly service to members, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, supporting club policies and procedures, and helping meet operational and performance goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Meet OMNI productivity expectations for service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Be able to continuously lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to lift and move heavy or awkward objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use handheld RF scanner devices to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Report inventory or equipment problems, as well as expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Communicate replenishment needs to the club team and work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
• Pick orders promptly to meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, deadlines, and performance goals.
• Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Support member service, resolve or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Carry out assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
