Order Fulfillment Part Time
About The Position
Responsible for general warehouse and order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, using handheld scanners to verify merchandise counts and update locations, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency and excellent communication skills. Minimum required availability is Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The position requires timely and accurate order picking, secure packaging, and adherence to operational procedures, productivity standards, service-level agreements, and performance goals. The team member maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area; handles returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products according to procedures; and communicates inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as required.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly to meet deadlines, productivity requirements, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled products according to procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment and deliver service to members.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
