Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and order-picking activities supporting BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role uses pick lists and handheld RF scanners to locate, verify, and move merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, then securely packages orders according to standard operating procedures. Associates work to meet service-level agreements, productivity metrics, and order deadlines while communicating inventory, equipment, replenishment, and product-date issues to the appropriate club team members. The position also includes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe OMNI work area; handling damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns according to procedures; following club policies and dress-code standards; and assisting in other departments when needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The role involves frequent movement and merchandise handling in a warehouse and retail-club environment.
Requirements

- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- May need to lift and move heavy or awkward objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

- Previous order-pulling experience.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
- Previous RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists and use handheld RF scanners to select and verify orders.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
- Coordinate with the club team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
- Complete orders in a timely manner and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
- Follow operational processes and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress-code standards.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Support a safe, positive, and inclusive environment and provide friendly service to members.
