Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role pulls merchandise from pick lists, verifies items and counts using a handheld RF scanner, moves merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and operates equipment. Associates package orders securely, meet productivity and service-level requirements, help keep the fulfillment area clean and organized, and follow club policies and standard operating procedures. The position also involves communicating inventory or equipment issues, coordinating replenishment, processing returns, and providing friendly, efficient service to members.
Requirements
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted or moved with assistance.

- Previous order-pulling experience.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
- Previous RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations using the scanner.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, including expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
- Notify the club team when merchandise needs replenishment and coordinate pulling merchandise from reserve when possible.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
- Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when metrics are not met.
- Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the SFC area and Omni Space clean, neat, and organized; maintain storage bins and perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine appropriate handling through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
- Deliver friendly, courteous service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Work collaboratively to uphold GOLD Member and Club Standards and support club goals.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
