Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves picking merchandise from a pick list with a handheld RF scanner, verifying merchandise and counts, moving orders from the sales floor to a staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard operating procedures. The associate works to meet productivity expectations and service level agreements while helping maintain a safe, clean, organized OMNI space and delivering a friendly, member-focused experience. The associate communicates inventory, equipment, expired-item, and replenishment issues; coordinates with the club team to obtain merchandise from reserve areas when possible; processes returns; and handles damaged or spoiled products according to procedures. The position also requires following club policies, dress standards, operational procedures, and performance requirements, with predictable attendance as an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments.
Requirements
- Previous order-pulling experience is preferred.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Pick merchandise from a pick list using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid sales floor replenishment.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
- Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized SFC area, including housekeeping, trash and cardboard removal, and upkeep of storage bins.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
- Deliver friendly, member-focused service and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
