About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, using handheld RF scanners to verify items and update merchandise locations, moving products from the sales floor to a staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. The associate works to meet order deadlines, service-level agreements, productivity requirements, and performance metrics while following established processes and club policies. The position also includes communicating inventory, equipment, expired-item, and replenishment issues; maintaining an orderly and clean OMNI/SFC work area; handling returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products; and providing friendly, service-focused support to members and coworkers. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.
Requirements

- Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted or moved with assistance.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as required.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
- Coordinate with the club team to replenish merchandise or pull it from the reserve area when possible.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Work with club leadership regarding individual performance when metrics are not met.
- Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and maintain storage bins according to safety standards.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
- Deliver friendly, courteous service; address and de-escalate member concerns and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Support a safe, inclusive, collaborative, and positive environment for members and team members.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
