About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and digital order fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise and counts, updating merchandise locations, and operating equipment. The role supports digital initiatives including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Associates are expected to provide friendly member service, work collaboratively, follow club policies and procedures, maintain a safe and organized environment, and meet operational and productivity expectations.

The position involves picking, verifying, and securely packaging orders according to standard operating procedures; communicating inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues; handling returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products; and keeping the OMNI/SFC work area clean and organized. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• May need to lift and move heavy or awkward objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and loud equipment, with possible exposure to temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders and occasional exposure to company-approved cleaning agents.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use handheld RF scanner devices to pick and verify orders and merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as required.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, goals, and deadlines.
• Follow operational efficiency, process, productivity, and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for members and team members.
• Deliver member service, address or de-escalate member concerns, and follow GOLD Member Standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
