About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities to fulfill member orders, including selecting merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld scanner, and moving orders from the sales floor to a staging area. The role supports digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club, and follows applicable standard operating procedures, productivity expectations, and service-level agreements.

The associate packages orders securely, keeps the order-picking and staging areas clean and organized, handles damaged or spoiled goods and returns according to procedures, and communicates inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues. The role also supports club policies, member service, safety, and teamwork, and may include work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Previous order-pulling experience is preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience is preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use an RF handheld scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid replenishing from the sales floor.
• Complete orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, performance metrics, and service-level agreements.
• Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them via DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Support member service, safety, inclusion, teamwork, and daily GOLD Member Standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
