About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities to fulfill member orders, including pulling merchandise from pick lists, moving items from the sales floor to a staging area, verifying merchandise and quantities with a handheld scanner, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

The associate works to meet productivity and service-level requirements, follows operational procedures, packages orders securely, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area. The role also includes processing returns, communicating inventory or equipment issues, and helping in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted or moved with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner, verify items and counts, and move orders from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid replenishing from the sales floor.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, goals, and deadlines.
• Follow established operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled products according to procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards, and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment and deliver friendly service to members.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
