About The Position
The Optical Sales Associate/Optician works in person at a private eye care practice in a welcoming, team-based environment alongside doctors, technicians, opticians, and front desk professionals. The role supports patient care by providing optical guidance, helping patients choose and fit eyewear, and maintaining accurate records using Crystal PM EHR. This is a full-time position of up to 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends. Starting pay is $25 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Previous eye care or eyewear sales experience is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented and team-spirited.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and fitting, providing expert optical guidance.
- Educate patients on eyewear choices, lens technologies, and proper eyewear care.
- Maintain accurate records using Crystal PM EHR.
- Deliver a friendly, positive patient experience in every interaction.
