2nd Shift Entry Level Optical Manufacturing
About The Position
National Vision, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Optical Manufacturing Associate for its optical manufacturing lab in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The role supports eyewear production, with assigned tasks that may include preparing lenses, supporting lens processing and coating, assembling eyewear, or inspecting finished products. No prior optical manufacturing experience is required; employees are paid while training. The facility is described as clean and climate controlled, with a casual work environment. The scheduled shift is 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, though hours may vary slightly by department. Seasonal overtime may be required. Compensation is $17.55–$19.69 per hour.

- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or optical experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Support eyewear production in an optical manufacturing lab.
- Learn assigned tasks such as preparing lenses, supporting lens processing and coating, assembling eyewear, or inspecting finished products.
- Follow work instructions and quality standards to process orders accurately.
- Inspect lenses and frames and report quality concerns.
- Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Work with the team to meet production goals while maintaining quality.
