About The Position

As an Operations Team Member at Gateway Services’ Agape Pet Services location in Verona, Virginia, you will provide compassionate pet aftercare, helping ensure every pet entrusted to the company’s care is treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. You will work alongside a supportive team to serve veterinary partners and pet families. No previous industry experience is required; training is provided.

This is an on-site, active role in a Gateway Care Center. Work involves standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift, as well as working around deceased pets. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime is required based on business need. Compensation is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment according to established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
• Create memorial products, including paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure each order is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
