About The Position
You’ll be part of a great team that turns raw materials into hot-rolled band steel while maintaining safety and quality standards. You might work in an area that handles raw materials, or you could be involved with melting, casting, and rolling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an unlimited basis.
- 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Play an important role in meeting deadlines by reaching daily work goals.
- Meet quality standards and maximize efficiency, supporting efforts for continuous improvement.
- Participate in training, achieving key performance indicators, and improving safety, product quality, operational stability, and security.
- Work safely around heavy equipment and machinery by following strict policies for safety, housekeeping, set-up standards, and environmental compliance.
- Work in all non-controlled temperature environments, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs, standing, or walking for long periods.
