About The Position

Gateway Services is hiring an Operations Team Member at its Fond Memories location in New Braunfels, Texas. The role supports compassionate pet aftercare, helping ensure pets entrusted to the company’s care are treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. The position is hands-on and involves operating cremation equipment, processing and packaging cremated remains, creating memorial products, completing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Team Members work together to meet daily production goals.

No previous industry experience is required; training is provided. The role is onsite at a Gateway Care Center and involves standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with 40 hours per week. Overtime is required based on business need. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment according to established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
• Create memorial products, including paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure each order is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
