About The Position

The Operations Team Member works at Pet Angel, a Gateway Services Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky, providing compassionate pet aftercare services. The role helps ensure pets entrusted to Gateway’s care are treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. No previous industry experience is required; training is provided.

This is an on-site, hands-on position involving cremation equipment, processing and packaging cremated remains, creating memorial products, quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime required based on business need. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment following established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
• Create memorial products, including paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure each order is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
