Operations Team Member (temporary)
About The Position
Gateway Services is hiring a temporary Operations Team Member at West Coast Pet Memorial in Sacramento, California. The role provides compassionate pet aftercare services, ensuring pets are treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). No previous industry experience is required; training is provided. The role involves hands-on operational work in an on-site Gateway Care Center. Team Members operate cremation equipment, process and package cremated remains, create memorial products, conduct quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe, organized workplace. The work includes standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift and may involve working around deceased pets. Responsibilities
- Operate cremation equipment following established procedures.
- Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
- Create memorial products such as paw prints and keepsakes.
- Perform quality checks to ensure every order is completed correctly.

- Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
