About The Position

As an Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouses. You will implement processes to optimize warehouse operations, guide frontline associates, foster a safe and productive work environment, and contribute to the success of DHL Supply Chain. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the company’s contract logistics operations. The organization describes its environment as business casual and focused on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement. The stated shift is Monday through Thursday, approximately 5 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
At least 1 year of operations experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role preferred.
At least 1 year of logistics industry experience preferred.
Staff management, workload planning, objective setting, and organizational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of frontline associates through coaching, guidance, and support.
Develop a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
Take proactive measures to uphold compliance with health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to track performance and identify improvement areas.
Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
Foster open communication and collaboration through regular, effective dialogue among leadership and associates, promoting transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
Implement processes to optimize warehouse operations.
