About The Position

The Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse facilities and for implementing processes that optimize warehouse operations. The role provides leadership and support to frontline associates, helps maintain a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to operational success. Supervisors oversee the building and operation in its entirety, including safety, productivity, inbound and outbound operations, consolidation, and dock flow. They work with two co-supervisors and an Operations Manager, conduct associate reviews, and support overall team development. The role requires flexibility to adapt schedules and work styles to business needs. The stated shift is 7:00 PM–5:30 AM, with supervisor coverage roughly 6:00/6:30 PM–6:00/6:30 AM. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, with over 50,000 associates and more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space. Requirements

Preferred candidate has 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in logistics or manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
At least 1 year of operations experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role preferred.
At least 1 year of logistics industry experience preferred.
Staff management, workload planning, objective setting, and organizational skills preferred.
Must be flexible and able to adapt schedule and work style to business needs.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, guide, and develop a diverse team of frontline associates.
