About The Position

The Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses. The role includes implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations, guiding frontline associates, fostering a safe and productive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of DHL Supply Chain. The position is part of an organization with more than 500 facilities and over 50,000 associates operating across more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space in North America.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
At least 1 year of operations experience in a lead, supervisor, or management role preferred.
At least 1 year of logistics industry experience preferred.
Staff management, workload planning, objective setting, and organizational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of frontline associates through coaching, guidance, and support, while building a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
Promote open communication and collaboration through regular dialogue among leadership and associates, supporting transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
