About The Position

The Operations Manager at Target’s Regional Distribution Center leads teams and oversees operational execution, with a focus on safety, productivity, team development, and problem-solving. The role fosters a safety-first culture through awareness, training, and accountability, and creates a positive work environment through observation and specific, constructive, actionable feedback. The manager ensures operational plans are executed and performance and budget goals are achieved, while keeping teams informed and coordinated across functions. The role also supports process innovation, efficiency, and future process-flow optimization, using root-cause analysis and testing to address problems. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures, perform updates, and operate Distribution Center systems and programs, including traversing conveyor crossovers.
