About The Position
The Operations Manager (Non-Complex) role at Walmart involves initiating and directing community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating performance, and setting clear expectations.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
- Assists the store manager in driving financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, controlling expenses, and developing action plans.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, and measuring progress.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
