About The Position

The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and manages the restoration division. This role leads day-to-day facility activities, ensuring job schedules and products meet customer quality standards while controlling costs. The position oversees restoration crews and production, coordinates a diverse workforce, communicates and delegates across the restoration staff, and develops processes and employees. It also works with support personnel to prevent job delays and ensures compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
At least 2 years of management experience.
Ability to build a strong team, with tangible leadership skills.
Strong process- and results-driven attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented.
Knowledge of relevant computer applications.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Nice To Haves

At least five years of restoration industry experience.
IICRC certifications.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day restoration crew operations, including schedules and production levels.
Manage the tasks and activities of a diverse workforce to ensure jobs are processed in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with restoration staff and delegate appropriate duties.
Develop and implement processes to improve performance.
Develop employees for greater responsibility and improve production personnel’s abilities, skills, and knowledge through instruction and training.
Work with support personnel to ensure all aspects of each job are met and prevent delays.
Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and implement safe working procedures in assigned restoration areas.
