About The Position

The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing, mentoring, training, and coaching direct reports. This role serves as the Designated Representative (DR) for the site and involves preparing and maintaining the departmental budget. The manager will lead and/or assist with the planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of company initiatives, while also tracking and accounting for warehouse accuracy and productivity. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing measures to improve productivity and employee morale, frequent interaction with senior leadership and clients, implementing special projects, and overseeing after-hours events and potential 24/7 emergency operations. The role also includes serving as the Hazard Communication Program Administrator and ensuring adherence to safety procedures, cGMP, SOPs, and work instructions to comply with regulatory standards. Collaboration with Facility Management for facility maintenance and contract negotiation for vendor services are also part of the role. The position promotes a work environment emphasizing Safety, Regulatory compliance, and Client Focus.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years distribution and warehouse management experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for property in a warehouse or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
Demonstrated healthcare experience in a regulated environment.
Demonstrated working knowledge of cGMPs, VAWD, ISO, DEA, FDA, and US Customs standards and regulations.
Familiar with temperature-controlled warehousing.
Effective time management skills.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to conduct appropriate research as needed.
Strong presentation skills.
Attention to detail and organization.
Interest in working in a fast-paced environment.
Deftly navigate through ERP system – Tecsys Elite, MQ1
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including Statistics and Pivot Tables), PowerPoint.
Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments and transportation.
Ability to conduct/track graphical and data-driven analytics related to Client performance.
Ability to maintain and track budget/spending trends.
Advanced public speaking and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Clear and Professional diction in English.
Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen).
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Ensure all safety procedures, cGMP, SOPs, and work instructions are followed to comply with regulatory standards.
Work with Facility Management department to ensure facility structure is maintained as a safe working environment.
Negotiate and manage contracts for vendor services.
Promote a work environment with emphasis on Safety, Regulatory compliance and Client Focus.
