About The Position

Inframark is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for municipal wastewater operations. The role leads teams and oversees the daily operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, with a focus on safety, efficiency, regulatory compliance, dependable service, and continuous improvement. It is a hands-on leadership position that includes field work across multiple sites, developing operators, coordinating with maintenance teams and company leadership, and managing budgets, equipment, and capital planning.

Requirements

At least 5 years of wastewater operations experience.
Hands-on plant experience and leadership ability.
Highest-level Louisiana wastewater operator certification.
Understanding of compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50–60 lbs.
Ability to navigate plant environments, including stairs, ladders, and confined spaces.
Ability to stay active and engaged across multiple sites.

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Experience as a Supervisor or Lead Operator.

Responsibilities

Hire, coach, mentor, develop, and grow a team of operators.
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA, DOT, and regulatory standards.
Conduct site visits and partner with maintenance teams to keep equipment and systems operating effectively.
Manage budgets, equipment, and capital planning for trucks, tools, and infrastructure.
Track performance, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with leadership and account managers to align and support successful operations.
