About The Position

Large Marine Wholesaler is seeking a Warehouse Manager with experience in all phases of warehousing, shipping, receiving, routing delivery trucks, and managing people. The position is located in Harahan and operates from approximately 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This role is expected to grow into an Operations Manager position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Proven track record in managing teams and improving employee performance.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operations in manufacturing and warehouse environments to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

• Develop and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Implement cost control and cost reduction strategies to optimize budget utilization without compromising quality or safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions for continuous improvement.
