About The Position

Anterior is seeking an Operations Manager to help its operations keep pace with the company’s rapid growth. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role works across engineering, clinical, Frontier, GTM, and finance teams to identify important business challenges, recommend practical approaches, and carry projects through to completion. Responsibilities will evolve as the company grows, and the role may become a key part of the operations team. The position covers company-wide projects, IT and business systems, compliance readiness, operating processes, vendor and contract administration, and operational support for onboarding, offboarding, and recruiting coordination. The Operations Manager is expected to automate repetitive work using AI, scripts, and integrations, and to help colleagues do the same. The team works together in person in New York City five days per week.

Requirements

  • Around 3–5 years of experience in consulting, business operations, or another demanding generalist role.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze numbers, make clear recommendations, and do hands-on implementation.
  • Initiative, follow-through, clear communication, and willingness to flag problems early.
  • Ability to work quickly and reliably under pressure and adapt constructively when priorities change.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment about when work is sufficiently complete to move forward.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, seek expertise, accept feedback, and update views based on evidence.
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive information, including compensation, performance information, and PHI.
  • Based in New York or willing to relocate, and willing to work in person five days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business systems or security compliance.
  • Prior experience combining consulting and startup work; this is valued but not required.
  • Existing use of AI to improve work and interest in reducing manual work.
  • Comfort learning and connecting new tools; scripting or API experience is a plus.
  • Healthcare or health-tech experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own cross-functional projects with the VP of Operations and team leads, from defining the problem and recommending an approach through implementation.
  • Manage IT and business systems, including identity and access using Rippling and Okta, provisioning and deprovisioning, devices and inventory, AI tooling and API access, and SaaS spend.
  • Improve onboarding and offboarding systems, including establishing one-click processes.
  • Coordinate SOC 2 Type 2 and HITRUST evidence collection with engineering and compliance vendors.
  • Respond to customer security questionnaires and maintain policies such as business continuity, disaster recovery, privacy, and code of conduct policies.
  • Maintain operating systems and records, including charge codes, project spaces, contract and BAA/SLA trackers.
  • Run the weekly operations cadence and write SOPs to make processes repeatable without ongoing individual involvement.
  • Manage operational vendors and contracts, including scoping, negotiation, renewal, and cancellation.
  • Partner with the Head of People on the operational aspects of onboarding and offboarding and provide recruiting coordination when needed.
  • Automate repetitive work through Claude skills, scripts, and integrations, and measure time saved.
