About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain oversees warehouse operations, implementing processes to improve efficiency and supporting the success of the operation. The role leads and develops Supervisors and indirect reports, builds an inclusive team culture, and promotes a safe and productive work environment. The manager works with leadership, associates, Human Resources, cross-functional teams, and customers to support operational performance, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities and over 150 million square feet of warehouse space, with more than 50,000 associates.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
