Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting clear expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assists the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, and developing action plans.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, modeling Walmart values, and supporting sustainability efforts.
  • Serves customers and members by putting them first, adapting to shopping behaviors, and applying business models to plans.
  • Makes decisions based on data insights and analysis, balancing priorities, and considering all stakeholders.
