The Operations Manager directs and coordinates the daily activities of the facility and warehouse to ensure that the quality and accuracy of shipping and receiving of products and the provision of services meet and exceed customer expectations. This role involves managing, mentoring, and motivating supervisory personnel, collaborating with leadership and engineers, and overseeing the supervision of facility and warehouse Team Members. The Operations Manager is responsible for coaching, training, and developing Team Members and front-line managers, monitoring operations for efficiency and effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement in operational systems, processes, and policies. Additionally, this role involves directing quality control, determining staffing levels, conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, managing delays in operations, facilitating mill shut-downs, and participating in various inspections and assessments. The Operations Manager also handles customer complaints, champions core business values, and ensures adherence to safety and security standards.
