The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing, mentoring, training, and coaching direct reports. This role serves as the Designated Representative (DR) for the site and is responsible for preparing and maintaining the departmental budget. The Operations Manager will lead and/or assist with the planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of company initiatives. Key responsibilities include tracking and accounting for warehouse accuracy and productivity, creating and implementing measures to improve productivity and employee morale, and frequently interacting with senior leadership, clients, and managers to meet company objectives. The role also involves implementing special projects, overseeing after-hour events, potentially managing 24/7 emergency operations, and serving as the Hazard Communication Program Administrator. Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, cGMP, SOPs, and work instructions, and collaborating with Facility Management to maintain a safe working environment are critical. Additionally, the Operations Manager will negotiate and manage vendor contracts and promote a work environment focused on safety, regulatory compliance, and client focus.
