About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. It operates a parking network with more than 23,000 employees at over 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a parking facility, delivering a strong client and customer experience while supervising employees, maintaining operational controls, and managing profitability, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

• Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse group of team members.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer experience and client satisfaction, including finding unique ways to solve problems.
• Ability to react and problem-solve quickly.
• Experience using computer applications and systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn internal computer programs.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

• Prior experience developing budgets and reviewing profit and loss (P&L).

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, and proactively communicate operational improvements.
• Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team of employees.
• Determine appropriate staffing levels to complete duties, provide a superior customer experience, and perform daily job functions.
• Ensure parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed.
• Maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control procedures, expense reviews, and budget management.
• Identify procurement and vendor service needs for the location.
• Perform general accounting duties, including accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash.
• Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor and review damage claims.
• Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve operational safety and prevent similar claims from recurring.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA laws.
