About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a parking facility in Bayonne, New Jersey, delivering a strong experience for clients and customers while supporting operational performance, profitability, safety, and compliance. The role leads and develops a diverse team, manages staffing and facility procedures, oversees financial and vendor-related duties, and monitors maintenance and damage claims.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse group of team members.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer experience and client satisfaction, including finding unique ways to solve problems.
• Ability to react and problem-solve quickly.
• Experience using computer applications or systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn internal computer programs.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.

• Prior experience developing budgets and reviewing profit and loss (P&L).

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, and proactively communicate with clients about operational improvements.
• Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team of employees.
• Determine staffing levels needed to complete duties, provide a superior customer experience, and perform daily job functions.
• Ensure parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed.
• Maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control, expense reviews, and management of the operation’s budget.
• Identify the location’s procurement and vendor service needs.
• Perform general accounting duties, including accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash.
• Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor and review damage claims.
• Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve operational safety and prevent similar claims from occurring or recurring.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA laws.
