About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Financial Management, Logistics, or related field and 1 year’s experience in logistics, supply chain management, human resources, finance or related area OR 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, human resources, finance, or related area.

Responsibilities

Manages the development and improvement of new or existing operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionality.
Provides direction and input on project business and functional requirements, subject matter expertise, and solutions for complex problems.
Manages one or more work streams for the operations organization by designing project plans and leading a group of associates.
Facilitates meetings involving stakeholder teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives.
Recommends appropriate operational processes, develops and manages project requests and timelines.
Communicates project status details, timelines, and available resources, and plans and executes resource allocation.
Finalizes, approves, and delivers projects, taking corrective action as necessary to drive project results.
Communicates project plans and deliverables to key stakeholders, identifies root causes, and develops potential solutions.
Provides decision support by analyzing and interpreting data and information, conducting analyses of initiatives, and translating data analysis into recommendations.
Supervises and manages associates and leaders in assigned area of responsibility by giving direction, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
Identifies training and development needs and provides opportunities for learning and growth.
Teaches, supports, and models logistics and company policies and procedures.
Participates in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers.
Identifies and tracks export shipment data by investigating opportunities for improvement within the warehouse.
Provides feedback to internal customers and associates, reviews statistical data of shipments, and keeps records of shipments.
Prepares reports and audits records and reports submitted to regulatory agencies.
Trains export associates on shipment process and documentation required by carriers and governmental agencies.
Identifies opportunities for improvement with the processing of orders and develops training plans to improve the shipment process.
Maintains compliance and service levels to internal and external customers.
Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
Provides expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
Supports and aligns efforts to meet customer and business needs.
Builds commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
Identifies business needs, determines and carries out necessary processes and practices, and monitors progress and results.
