About The Position

The Operations Manager I oversees day-to-day cleaning operations for specific customer accounts or locations. The role manages, defines, coordinates, and facilitates projects while ensuring the success of assigned accounts and regional operations. The position also supports staff development, operational improvement, issue resolution, inventory control, accurate time and attendance recording, and labor law compliance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in facilities, production, manufacturing, janitorial, cleaning, hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience managing an hourly labor force.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to adhere to applicable regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to adhere to all policy and conduct standards and embrace the culture of CCS.
• High level of attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, climb, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands or arms.
• Ability to handle a weight or force of up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate customer cleaning operations.
• Monitor cleaning operations to ensure activities are completed promptly and correctly.
• Develop staff through training, technical skills development, safety, and performance management.
• Plan, organize, and lead projects to improve efficiency and productivity and implement business management best practices.
• Identify and resolve issues, including technical, procedural, and equipment issues that hinder cleaning performance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices where applicable.
• Ensure minimum inventory levels of standard stock materials.
• Ensure accurate time and attendance recording and labor law compliance.
• Perform other duties as defined by the supervisor.
