About The Position
The Operations Lead in Training (OLIT) role is a launchpad for a leadership career at Mister Car Wash. It is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment, and is ready to take an initial step into leadership. The role includes a focused 16-week training experience to develop hands-on operational skills and foundational leadership abilities. The OLIT works closely with an experienced General Manager, learning to deliver excellent customer experiences, lead daily operations, promote products and Unlimited Wash Club memberships, and contribute to teamwork and shared success. Training is intended to build the confidence, judgment, and business acumen needed to move into an Operations Lead role, with a path toward Assistant General Manager.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience leading a team, supervising shifts, or managing people in a customer-facing environment.
- Enjoy working with people and bring a positive attitude to interactions.
- Lead by example, take ownership of work, and maintain high standards.
- Stay motivated and goal-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrive in team environments based on trust, accountability, and shared success.
- Adapt quickly, stay curious, and be excited to begin a leadership career.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent customer experience through friendly, high-quality service.
- Lead daily operations, helping the team balance speed, quality, and teamwork.
- Promote Mister Car Wash products and Unlimited Wash Club memberships.
- Use each shift as an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop leadership confidence.
- Build trust, support teammates, and contribute to team success.
- Work closely with an experienced General Manager during training.
