About The Position

Guitar Center’s Operations Associate supports store operations by handling shipments and receiving, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a great store experience. The role contributes to Guitar Center’s mission to nurture lifelong musicians and create inclusive, customer-first environments. Successful associates collaborate effectively, focus on customer service, take initiative, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and learn the technology and retail systems needed to support store and business needs.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks related to inventory control.
Ship and receive gear and other items.
Prepare for and execute inventory cycle counts.
Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
Handle cash.
Maintain awareness of and help control shrink.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
