About The Position

Guitar Center’s Operations Associate supports store operations by handling shipments and inventory, completing daily tasks, and ensuring products are stocked and merchandised to create a positive customer experience. The role is part of a music-focused, inclusive retail environment centered on helping customers experience the joy of creating music. Successful associates collaborate with teammates, provide attentive customer service, show initiative, and manage priorities and details in a fast-paced environment. They must also learn and use retail technology, systems, equipment, and computer programs. The position involves working in a loud environment and requires availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings, as well as the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks related to inventory control.
Ship and receive gear and other items.
Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
Handle cash.
Support shrink awareness and control.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
