This position is contingent on a contract award. The Onsite EAP Consultant will provide counseling services related to workplace and career concerns, emotional and mental health, relationship and family issues, work-life balance, and health and wellness. The role also involves conducting substance use screenings and coordinating appropriate treatment referrals. The consultant will provide direct support to organizations and their employees through assessment, consultation, education, and triage services, utilizing knowledge of federal regulations to guide the appropriate handling of employee concerns. This includes providing clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning, offering employee and management consultation on personal and workplace problems, conducting critical incident response, EAP assessment, short-term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, and health and wellness trainings. The role requires managing caseloads and documentation to meet performance expectations, providing information and referral to appropriate levels of care and community resources, and participating in activities to improve organizational performance and culture. The consultant will also identify and recommend solutions for operational challenges and inefficiencies, analyze and present issues clearly, develop effective working relationships, and take responsibility for personal development and staying current with skills and techniques. Adherence to all contract requirements, team standard operating procedures, and company policies is essential. All other duties as assigned.
